Philippines Special Resident Retiree's Visa (SRRV) in 2026

The SRRV is a special non-immigrant visa issued through the Philippine Retirement Authority and Bureau of Immigration. PRA describes it as allowing multiple entry and indefinite stay while program requirements are maintained.

Current minimum age

PRA's current program accepts principal applicants aged 40 and above.

SRRV Classic deposits

For SRRV Classic, PRA currently lists:

  • pensioner age 50+: US$15,000;
  • pensioner age 40–49: US$25,000;
  • non-pensioner age 50+: US$30,000;
  • non-pensioner age 40–49: US$50,000.

Pensioners must also meet PRA's published lifetime-pension thresholds. Other options, including SRRV Courtesy, have separate criteria and deposit levels.

Verify work or study consequences separately

PRA lists important privileges for SRRV holders, but anyone planning employment or formal study should confirm the current PRA/BI/DOLE treatment for the specific activity rather than assuming every immigration or labor permission is automatic.
