Singapore EntrePass in 2026

EntrePass is Singapore's founder work pass for eligible foreign entrepreneurs. It is not a generic company-incorporation visa.

Core company test

MOM currently requires the applicant to have started, or intend to start, a Singapore private limited company that is venture-backed or owns innovative technologies.

Where the company is already registered with ACRA, the pass holder must hold at least 30% of the registered company. If the company is more than 12 months old at application, MOM assesses the case against the renewal criteria.

Entrepreneur, innovator or investor criteria

The applicant must also meet at least one qualifying criterion. Current MOM examples include prior fundraising, support from a recognised incubator or accelerator, founding and selling a qualifying technology business, holding relevant intellectual property, or having a qualifying research collaboration in Singapore.

MOM's document guidance states that a candidate relying on the fundraising criterion should be able to show at least S$100,000 from a single funding round for a past or current business.

No minimum salary

MOM does not publish a stipulated minimum salary for EntrePass. That does not mean any newly incorporated company qualifies.

Duration and renewal

MOM currently states:

  • new pass and first renewal: up to 1 year;
  • subsequent renewals: up to 2 years.

Renewal depends on continuing business activity and progressively applicable business-spending and local-workforce criteria.

Family

Family sponsorship is not automatic at initial approval. Current MOM rules link family eligibility to business spending, local workforce or specified founder-track achievements.

Registering a company with ACRA does not itself grant permission to live or work in Singapore.
