Singapore Personalised Employment Pass in 2026
MOM currently requires a fixed monthly salary of at least S$22,500 for the Personalised Employment Pass.
To retain the pass, the holder must remain employed in Singapore, cannot be unemployed for more than six months, and under the current framework must earn at least S$270,000 fixed salary per calendar year.
The PEP is more flexible than an employer-tied Employment Pass, but MOM explicitly states that it is not available to freelancers or people intending to work on a freelance basis. PEP holders are also not allowed to start a business or conduct entrepreneurial activity under the pass.
The PEP is issued for up to 3 years and is not renewable.
