Business Visa (B-2) in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan's B-2 business entry visa is the general temporary business-visitor category for representatives of business circles.

The MFA's official visa list describes B-2 as a business visa issued for a period of up to one year to representatives of business circles temporarily staying in Uzbekistan.

What B-2 is not

B-2 should not be marketed as an entrepreneur residence permit, a work visa, or a route to permanent residence. Local employment requires the employment work-visa framework. Qualifying IT Park founders may instead fit the IT Visa founder route, while substantial investors should compare the INV visa.

The Tier-1 sources reviewed for the January 2025 snapshot do not establish a standalone general startup-founder visa or generic freelancer visa.
