Investment Visa (INV) in Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan's INV investment visa is a distinct national visa category for qualifying foreign investors.
January 2025 framework
The MFA describes the INV as a multiple-entry investment visa valid for up to three years, with the possibility of extension without leaving Uzbekistan. The published eligibility is tied to qualifying investment in the Uzbek economy, including acquisition of shares or stakes and establishment of enterprises with foreign investment.
The official threshold is expressed as at least 8,500 times the base calculation amount rather than as a fixed US-dollar figure. ReloTide does not convert that legal formula into a historical dollar amount because the base amount can change.
Family members may receive corresponding visitor visas for the investment-visa period under the official rules.
Not automatic permanent residence
The INV visa is not citizenship and is not itself the same as the separate investor residence permit.
