Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Citizenship by Investment status
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines announced plans for a Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Programme in the 2026 Budget Address. The announcement described intended integrity safeguards, due diligence and a residency requirement.
Current operational status
As of October 2, 2026, the Prime Minister's Office citizenship page states "Citizenship by Investment Coming Soon" and says more information about requirements will be made available.
That means the programme should not yet be presented as an operational application route on the basis of the official material currently published.
Avoid unofficial offers
Prospective applicants should not assume that a private intermediary can file a valid CBI application before the Government publishes the official requirements, approved application channel, qualifying investments and fee schedule.
Existing investor and residence options
Foreign investment and property ownership exist separately from CBI. A foreign property buyer may need an Alien's Land-Holding Licence, while residence and permanent residence remain separate immigration processes.
See the country hub, permanent residence, Caribbean region, business visas, methodology, and legal disclaimer.
