Chile's negocios de múltiple entrada temporary-residence subcategory is designed for foreign nationals who need to enter Chile regularly to perform executive or managerial functions related to business or investments maintained by companies in Chile.
Repeated business management, not ordinary settlement
SERMIG states that the holder's total time in Chile during visits under this category may not exceed six months in each calendar year, subject to the decree governing the validity of migration subcategories.
The route therefore fits repeated executive or investment-management travel better than a founder who plans to live continuously in Chile and work there on a day-to-day basis.
Evidence
The official procedure requires a current passport, criminal-record documentation for adults, a recent photograph and documentation explaining the reasons for the visits and the applicant's economic and commercial interests. The application is made from outside Chile through SERMIG's digital portal.
