Employment Visa (C3) in Kazakhstan
The C3 employment visa is Kazakhstan's core visa category for foreigners entering or staying in Kazakhstan for local employment.

Official MFA guidance covers workers and their family members. A multiple-entry C3 may be issued for up to three years; special rules allow longer validity for certain AIFC and Astana Hub employment situations.
Work authorization remains separate where required
The government visa-extension service states that C3 depends on the inviting party and the foreign-labor permit where such a permit is required by Kazakhstan law. A visa alone should not be treated as universal work authorization.
